
My Story
I am an NHS medical doctor for nearly 15 years working in oncology and helping cancer patients . When personal experience of having Long Covid happened , I became a cripple of a person I used to be . I became easily fatigued and could not walk more than a few hundred yards before getting short of breadth. I started feeling sorry for my self and had low mood. These were all the the things my patients had faced but it hit home when I became displaced to the other side as a patient myself. I started researching more into a lifestyle approach . I started working to get certified in Lifestyle medicine with the American College of lifestyle medicine and this became my over riding passion . I changed my nutrition and really started thinking what I was putting into my mouth. I started to sleep on time and showing up for myself to have daily movement albeit gentle at first and with what I could manage. I started doing breadth work and meditation to de- stress and reset my autonomic system and these habits started to help me become empowered to become better at managing my health . I gained my health back and in many ways became an ambassador of lifestyle medicine . I feel very passionate that I can help patients to gain control of their health and wellbeing .
